Our Story

Cummings Construction was founded by Garrett Cummings in 2020 after working as a carpenter and site supervisor building estate homes. With 20 years experience in structural concrete and light wood residential framing, Garrett believes firmly in building strong and building to last. Our projects are designed and constructed above and beyond minimum code standards in Ontario, offering clients features and materials not commonly available. These projects include engineered structural steel solutions for large windows and elaborate shapes, full interior design guidance and materials selections through our supplier partners, and professional, skilled trade partners who take pride in their work. 

Your Experience

At Cummings Construction, we understand that the renovation or building process can be overwhelming. We pride ourselves on clear and consistent communication with clients and trades alike. Our project management software provides a transparent look at the design and build process, outlining the complete project schedule, sub-trade partners and their credentials, materials selections and of course the financials, all from one hub. 

We acknowledge the intimacy of working in peoples homes, and believe that the contractor/homeowner relationship should be a lasting one.  We like to think of our clients past and future as friends, and appreciate them allowing us into their homes. Our carpenters are onsite everyday, using dust protection and material protection to safeguard our clients homes during construction. During the building phase, our clients can expect a clean and organized jobsite, regular and prompt communication and above all, peace of mind that the rest of the home is protected during construction.
